Delhi Scholarship – Terms & Conditions
In this section, we will talk about the Rule and Regulations a candidate needs to remember before filling the application form. You can refer to the list given below to know about the terms and conditions of Delhi scholarship 2022.
- The candidate must be a resident of Delhi 3 years prior to his/her registration if they belong to Minority community and the candidate must upload its poof in form of Aadhar card, Landline Bill of MNTL, Ration card, EPIC card Domicile certificate issued by SDM in Delhi, Driver’s License issued by GNCTD or bank passbook of a nationalised bank.
- The family annual income of the candidate must not exceed Rs.2 Lakh. If the Parents/guardian is in government that latest salary slip must be submitted. Income certificate by the competent authority of Delhi. If the parents/guardian is in private service/jobs/other professions which are valid at the time of application must upload income certificate.
- If the candidate belongs to Minority community a declaration by parents or guardian that their child belongs to the minority community must be submitted in prescribed format.
- If the student belong to ST, SC or OBC category they must submit a Caste certificate in the name of student or his/her father issued by SDM/Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) GNCTD, Domicile certificate of the candidate if the Caste (SC) certificate is not issued by competent authority od Govt. of NCT.
- The candidate must be studying in any recognized school or school affiliated by Department of Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi/Municipal local bodies of Delhi.
- The selected candidates of classes 1st to 5th will receive fee Reimbursement of tuition and other compulsory fees irrespective of the marks secured. The selected candidates of classes 6th to 12th who scored minimum 50% marks and have attendance of 80% in preceding year will also receive fee Reimbursement of tuition and other compulsory fees.
- The candidates who are repeating a class are ineligible for the scholarship.
- The candidate must have a bank account in his/her name. Joint accounts with parents are also allowed.
- The selected candidates whose family annual income is Rs.60,000 or less will receive 100% Fee Reimbursement and those whose family annual income is less than or equal to Rs.2 Lakh will receive 75% Fee Reimbursement.
- The candidates who are willing to apply for this scholarship can visit the e-district portal of NIC Delhi i.e., www.edistrict.delhigovt.nic.in. All supporting documents must be uploaded with the application form.
