E-District Scholarship – Eligibility Criteria

The students must fulfil certain conditions in order to get selected under this scholarship. The table given below contains all the information about the eligibility criteria.

  • The main eligibility to apply for this scholarship is that the student is required to belong to a reserved category which is approved in the respective state of India.
  • For this scholarship, the applicant is required to pass the final course examination with minimum 50% marks.

  • The applicant must belong to OBC category.

  • The family annual income of the candidate must not exceed Rs.44,500 per annum.

Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for OBC Students Studying in Delhi and also outside Delhi but within India

  • The applicant must belong to OBC category.

  • The applicant must be pursuing post-matric studies from a government or government funded school/institute.
  • The family annual income of the candidate must not exceed Rs.1 Lakh per annum.

Financial assistance for the purchase of stationery to SC/ST/OBC/ Minority category students

  • The applicant must be studying in classes 1st to 12th.
  • The applicant must have a minimum attendance of 70% in the previous academic year.
  • The family annual income of the candidate must not exceed Rs.2 Lakh per annum.

Merit Scholarship for students belonging to SC/ST/OBC/ Minorities category studying in Colleges/Professional/Technical Institutions

  • The applicant must belong to ST/SC/OBC category.
  • The applicant must have secured minimum 60% marks in the previous exam.
  • The students who are pursuing any Diploma/ Degree Course /Post-Graduate Studies or any Technical/ Professional Courses from any recognized or affiliated Colleges/Institutes of the State/Central Govt.

Reimbursement of tuition fee for students belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Minority category

  • The students who are studying in classes 1st to class 12th from any recognized private schools of Delhi and whose family annual income is less than Rs. 3,00,000 are eligible.
  • The students whose family annual income is less than Rs.60,000 per annum will receive 100 % reimbursement of the tuition fees under this scholarship.
  • The students whose family annual income is between Rs.60,000 to 2,00,000 per annum will receive 70 % reimbursement of the tuition fees under this scholarship.
  • The students who are studying in classes 1st to class 5th will receive reimbursement of their tuition fees regardless of marks scored.
  • The students who are studying in classes 6th to 12th, will receive reimbursement of the tuition fee only if they secure 50 % or above marks.
  • The students will have to maintain a minimum attendance of 80% in the preceding year.

Scholarship/Merit Scholarship to students belonging to SC/ST/OBC/ Minority Category

  • The applicant must belong to ST/SC/OBC category.
  • The applicants must be pursuing classes 1st to 12th (for ST/SC students) and classes 6th to 12th (for OBC students) from any recognized school in Delhi.
  • The family annual income of the candidate belonging to OBC category must not exceed Rs.2 Lakh per annum.
  • No family annual income limit for the ST/SC students.

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar State Toppers Award to students belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Minority category (for the professional/technical degree courses at the graduation level)

  • The applicant must belong to ST/SC/OBC category.
  • The students who top among these minority students will be eligible for this scholarship.
