HP Scholarship – Eligibility criteria

All of these scholarships have certain limitations and conditions for students who are eligible for them. The eligibility criteria for these many scholarships differ based on the financial status and social status of the students with the exception that the student must be a genuine student studying within a real state or outside the state, having a valid foundation within India (UID / EID. HP Scholarship – Documents Required

To be eligible for Himachal Pradesh Scholarship, the basic requirement is to be bonafide of Himachal Pradesh and further information is based on the scholarship scheme chosen by the student. The newly implemented Himachal Pradesh e-pass scholarship portal makes it easy and efficient for students to apply for these scholarships. There is a step-by-step application process on how to apply for HP Scholarship easily through HP ePass Scholarship Portal and National Scholarship Portal.

HP Scholarship ePass Portal

• Firstly, you have to go on the official website of HP ePass Scholarship Portal.

• Where Visit the Himachal Pradesh ePass Scholarship Portal.
• The list of Scholarship Schemes can be referenced by clicking on ‘Schemes Offered’
• Click on ‘Student login’ to register yourself.
• Student User Id and Password will be provided through the specified phone number and email id.
• Note- Keep this User ID and Password protected, the same shall be used to track various progress of the scholarship application.
• Now if you’re a new student then click on “New Student Registration” and you will be redirected to the page.
• If you do not have your Aadhar card click on ‘No’ and provide the Electronic Identification as ID proof and finish the registration.
• Attach the all-necessary documents.
• Once you have completed the registration by providing valid and important details carefully, attach all the required documents related to the HP Scholarship application. Documents should be verified and if any document found invalid it will be your application is rejected.

• After successfully submitting the online application form, it will be automatically sent to the selected institution by the student for verification.
• Note- If any student is found to have an error in their application form, then they will have to inform the institute/district/region/state about the mistakes made by them separately. The software facilitates edit and correct limited information at the institute and state level.

The National Scholarship Portal (NSP) of the stages is given below but the application to be followed-

• Firstly, you have to go on the official website of the National Scholarship Portal.

• Check whether your institute is listed on the portal or not, by clicking the button ‘Search for institute’ button. If your institution is not registered, then request them to register on the portal first.
• If your institution is registered, click on the ‘New Registration’ button and read all the instructions carefully.
• Fill in all necessary details and register yourself. You will get an application ID and password on your registered mobile number.
• Create a login using the application ID and password and change the password at your convenience.
• After entering the dashboard, click on the application form to start the application.
• Fill in all important details in the application form and upload all related documents (as required).
• Finally, submit your application.

HP Scholarship – Award

The Himachal Pradesh Scholarship is specially designed to assist students who are either from a minority group or from reserved categories with limited means to challenge the background financially. It has also been implemented for students with disabilities. A major objective of all these schemes is to empower education and motivate meritorious students to get a proper education and have an efficient future.
