  • The candidate applying for this scholarship should have the domicile of Meghalaya.
  • The Student must be a regular, full-time student of class 9 or 10 in a recognized school.
  • Candidates should be of the Scheduled Tribe category.

Umbrella Scheme for Education of ST Children – Post Matric Scholarship, Meghalaya

  • Applicants must be a domicile of Meghalaya.
  • Applicants must have studied in class 11 or above.
  • Applicants should complete the Matriculation / Higher Secondary / Higher Examination of any University.
  • Applicants should be in the Scheduled Tribe category.

Meghalaya Border Areas Scholarship

  • The applicants should be permanent residents of Meghalaya in the Border Area.
  • The candidates should belong to the Scheduled Caste / Tribe community of Meghalaya.
  • Applicants should study a regular course in a recognized institute.
  • The parents/guardians of the applicants should be Indian citizens.
  • Candidates should not be appointed to any service under the government of any non-governmental establishment.
  • A student applying for a scholarship should not be a repeater in the same class for more than one time.

DBT-Research Associateship in Biotechnology and Applied Biology (North-East Region)

  • Applicants who are permanent in the North East Region are eligible for this scholarship.
  • Applicant must have a Ph.D. Should be (Science, Engineering), or MD or MS (Medicine) having research interest in Biotechnology and Life Sciences.
  • The applicant should have a good academic record.
  • The applicant should be below 40 years of age (in case of women and service candidates above 45 years).

Special Scholarship Scheme Ishan Uday for NER

  • Candidates applying for this scholarship are required to have a permanent North East Region (NER).
  • Candidates applying for this scholarship are required to have a permanent North East Region (NER).
  • Applicants should have admission in general degree, technical/vocational courses of a recognized college/university/institute.
  • Annual family income should not exceed INR 4.5 lakh.

Combined Counselling Board Scholarship (Meghalaya)

  • Candidates studying at the college/university level (diploma level, degree level, or pursuing postgraduate level courses) are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates should pass the final qualifying examination with at least 40% to 50% marks.

Meghalaya Scholarship – Documents Required

Special Scholarship Scheme Ishan Uday for NER

  • 10,000 scholarships are disbursed every year under this scholarship scheme.
  • A monthly scholarship of INR 5,400 is awarded to students studying general degree courses.
  • INR a monthly scholarship amount for 7800 is given to students of technical/medical/business/paramedical courses.
  • In addition, the scholarship has been renewed every year based on the performance of the candidate, good conduct and maintenance of scheduled attendance.

Combined Counselling Board Scholarship (Meghalaya)

  • Under this scholarship scheme, eligible candidates get scholarship amount of INR 1 Lakh to INR 3 Lakh.
