Pre Matric Scholarship for Minority has been released by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India to provide financial assistance to those students who are studying class 1st to 10th class and belong to Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Zoroastrians (Parsis) and Jains. However candidates must have secured 50% marks in the previous class and family income should not exceed INR 1 lakh per annum. Eligible candidates can apply for these programmes through online mode till the last date. The following eligibility criteria are needed to take monetary benefits from the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India Under Pre Matric Scholarship for Minority:

  • Candidates who have a burning desire to get the Pre Matric Scholarship for Minority must be a permanent resident of India and belong to Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Zoroastrians (Parsis) and Jains.  .

Pre Matric Scholarship for Minority – Application Procedure

  • First of all, you have to go to the official website where its homepage will be displayed on the screen. 
  • On the homepage candidates have to register as a new user by providing all the required details.
  • Now candidates have to Provide domicile details, name, date of birth, mobile number, gender, email ID and select the scholarship to apply.
  • After Completing  OTP will be generated that will be used to verify the mobile number.
  • After that candidates have to Use the OTP  which they have received on the registered mobile to log in on NSP and fill the form.
  • Now an application ID and password will be created that can be used for future references.

  • 30% seats will be reserved for girls under Pre Matric Scholarship for Minority.
  • Only 2 children from one family will be eligible to Pre Matric Scholarship for Minority.
  • Candidates must have secured 50% marks in their previous class to get Pre Matric Scholarship for Minority.
  • However family income of candidates should not exceed INR 1 lakh to get Pre Matric Scholarship for Minority.
