  • The students who are domicile of West Bengal must have secured 70% marks (males) and 65% marks (females).

Category ‘B’
  • The applicant must be studying a ITI course from any government or private institute.
  • The male applicants must have secured minimum 50% marks to be eligible to apply for this scholarship.
  • The female applicants must have secured minimum 40% marks to be eligible to apply for this scholarship.
  • The family income of the candidate whose family has employment should be less than Rs.4 Lakhs from all sources.
  • The family income of the other candidates should be less than Rs.2.5 Lakhs from all sources.

Category ‘C’

For Graduate Courses

  • The applicant must be pursuing Graduation courses from any institute.
  • The male applicants must have secured minimum 60% marks and the female applicants must have secured minimum 55% in the previous exam.

  • The applicants must be pursuing Diploma in courses like Computer Science, Civil Engg., Automobile Tech., Chemical, Nursing, Pharmacy & Physiotherapy and environment-related courses.
  • The male applicants must have secured minimum 60% marks and the female applicants must have secured minimum 55% in the previous exam.
  • The family income of the candidate whose family has employment should be less than Rs.4 Lakhs from all sources.
  • The family income of the other candidates should be less than Rs.2.5 Lakhs from all sources.
  • The applicant must be less than 30 years in age.

Category ‘E’
  • The applicants must be pursuing medicine, engineering and architecture courses.
  • The students pursuing MDS are not eligible under this scholarship.
  • The male applicants must have secured minimum 70% marks and the female applicants must have secured minimum 65% in the previous exam.
  • The students who are domicile of Karnataka must have secured 75% marks (males) and 70% marks (females).
  • The students who are domicile of West Bengal must have secured 75% marks (males) and 70% marks (females).
  • The family income of the candidate whose family has employment should be less than Rs.4 Lakhs from all sources.

Some other eligibility requirements:

  • In all the categories, the eligibility marks for a differently-abled person are passing marks.
  • The differently-abled students will be given 5% relaxation on the minimum marks requirement for the continuation of the Jindal Scholarship 2020

Sitaram Jindal Scholarship – Documents Required

The absence of any of these documents may lead to the rejection of the form. The documents you will need is given below –

  • Copy of the last examination mark-sheet
  • Income certificate
  • Copy of SSLC/HSC mark-sheet
  • Copy of merit certificate (applicable for Engineering, Medical, Diploma and MBA students)
  • Certificate from the hostel warden (for hostellers)
  • A copy of the certificate will be required regarding the fees paid in the main document. (Applicable for Medical, Engineering, Diploma and MBA students)
  • It is necessary to have PPO, Relationship Dependency Certificate and widow I-card of Ex-servicemen. (For widows and ex-servicemen)
  • Disability certificate from a competent authority (if applicable)
  • Copy of certificate regarding fees paid (applicable to medical, engineering, diploma and MBA students)

  • First of all, you have to visit the official website of Jindal Scholarship Application, where the homepage of website will open on your screen.

  • On the homepage, you have to click on the “Sign up” link to register yourself.
  • Once, you have registered yourself go back to the homepage and click on “Login” tab.
  • Now, login using your registered user ID and Password.
