The Vedantu Scholarship is initiated by Vedantu, an interactive online tutoring platform. The Vedantu VSAT has been awarded to students based on their rank in the Entrance Examination 2022 (VSAT). Students can get 100% scholarship on the syllabus for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and 11 Indian certifications for Secondary Education (ICSE) class 6.

Vedantu Scholarship – Test Pattern

Different grade students will have different plans for the test paper. Detailed exam pattern is given below:

For students from grades 1-7, grades 6-7, 7-8 and 8-9

  • Candidates are evaluated on the basis of the Mental Aptitude Test (MAT).
  • There are a total of 50 objective type questions with 4 options (one of which is correct).
  • Every correct answer is given +4 marks and for every wrong answer 1 mark is deducted.
  • The maximum duration of this examination will be 1 hour, which will have to be completed within the prescribed time.

Category 2- For students who are in grades 9-10 and 10-11

  • Candidates are evaluated on the basis of the Mental Aptitude Test (MAT).

  • Candidates are reached on the basis of 2 classes – Mental Aptitude Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).
  • The question paper has a total of 50 questions (25 questions from each section).
  • All the questions are objective type with 4 options (one of which is correct).
  • Every correct answer is given +4 marks and for every wrong answer 1 mark is deducted.
  • The maximum duration of this examination will be 1 hour, which will have to be completed within the prescribed time.

Category 4- Grades for NEET candidates from grade 11-12

  • Candidates are reached on the basis of 2 classes – Mental Aptitude Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).
  • The question paper has a total of 50 questions (25 questions from each section).
  • All the questions are objective type with 4 options (one of which is correct).
  • Every correct answer is given +4 marks and for every wrong answer 1 mark is deducted.

Category 5- For JEE candidates, who are appearing in class 12th examination

  • Candidates are evaluated on the basis of 3 sections- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

  • All the questions are objective type with 4 options (one of which is correct).
  • Every correct answer is given +4 marks and for every wrong answer 1 mark is deducted.

Attendance for Grade 12 Examination for the candidates of Category 6- NEET

  • Candidates are evaluated on the basis of 3 sections- Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
  • There are 60 questions in total.
  • There are 15 questions in Physics and Chemistry and 30 in Biology.
  • All the questions are objective type with 4 options (one of which is correct).
  • Every correct answer is given +4 marks and for every wrong answer 1 mark is deducted.
  • The maximum duration of this examination will be 1 hour, which will have to be completed within the prescribed time.

Category 7- JEE Dropper

  • Candidates are evaluated on the basis of 3 sections- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • The question paper has a total of 30 questions (10 questions from each section).
  • All the questions are objective type with 4 options (one of which is correct).
  • Every correct answer is given +4 marks and for every wrong answer 1 mark is deducted.

Category 8- NEET dropper

  • Candidates are evaluated on the basis of 3 sections- Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Vedantu Scholarship – Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for Vedantu VSAT 2022 must meet the eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for North Indian states and South Indian states vary from one another. Eligible candidates can also apply if they have obtained the minimum required CGPA / Percent V-SAT / AP EAMCET or TS EAMCET / JEE Main / JEE Advanced.   • Candidates must be born on or after 1 July 2000.
  • Candidates should have obtained 7.0 CGPA if studied above 60% aggregate marks in Andhra Pradesh or in Telangana and other South Indian states or 50% aggregate marks, then studied in North, Northeast and other states.
  • Candidates qualified in V-SAT / AP or TS EAMCET / JEE Main / JEE Advance and secondly can also apply as mentioned in the minimum marks obtained in class 12.
  • For B.Tech / BPharmacy program, attempt Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English / Qualification.
  • Attempt Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English / Qualification for B.Tech. Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, Food Technology and BPharmacy programs.

Vedantu Scholarship – Examination Guidelines

The Vedantu Scholarship Test 2020-21 is completely online. Some other guidelines to be followed are given below:

  • VSAT can be tried from any part of the world and on any device.
  • The candidate has to log on to the VSAT website using his / her login credentials created at the time of registration.
  • The duration of the test is 1 hour.
  • A maximum delay of 30 minutes is allowed for starting the test, after which the candidate will not be allowed to take the test.
  • The test ends without a click on the “End Test” button due to sudden power or network errors, candidates can re-enter by entering VSAT login credentials to the VSAT website.
  • The test can only be taken with one instrument. Attempts to take the test on multiple devices will lead to the completion of the test.
  • Any corruption by opening switches or other applications in the new tab is not allowed during the trial period.
